Springtime!

Emily had her 18 month check up this past week (a few weeks late, oh well) and all is well! She weighs in at 26 pounds and is 33 1/2 inches tall. One day her feet will catch up but for now she is in a steady size 4! Dr. Tyler says she will be "tall and skinny" but with the amount of bread she eats I'm not so sure that is logical!! She is "talking" like crazy and LOVES to be outside. She can be quite helpful too: she will help take out the trash, but her dirty clothes in the laundry, assist with emptying the dishwasher (more so she can play in the tupperware cabinet!) and carry clean clothes to her room! And her new favorite thing is playing in the hose when Tom is watering the grass, two nights in a row she has come in soaked to the bone! We enjoy watching her discover new things and new faces...always keeping us busy!

Mowgli = Pillow

Emily saw Mowgli relaxing on the floor and decided that he looked pretty comfortable so she decided to use him as a pillow while she enjoyed a snack. Mowgli, as usual, just let her do what ever she wanted.

Happy Birthday Tom/Daddy!!!

After we ate lunch in downtown we were going to head out to a park since it was such a nice day. Once we finished lunch we decided to walk around downtown and see what was going on since it was just packed with people. We ended up hitting one of the bookstores and then going over to campus. Emily could not wait to get out of her stroller. Once she did get out there was no stopping her. Emily wanted to go anywhere and everywhere. It was really nice because the weather was perfect. With three different sporting events on campus and the attraction of the Toomer's Oak drama people were everywhere. Emily had the most fun checking out all the dogs.
