Happy Halloween!!

This year was Emily's first official year to "trick or treat"...we went over to my sister's neighborhood (yes....I bussed my child in to another neighborhood!!!) and hit about 5 houses which was PLENTY..her bucket was full when we got back. I tried to "coach" her everytime she went to a new house by saying "trick or treat and thank you" but she was was mute the entire time UNTIL we got back to Stephanie's house (however she knew exactly what to do with her bucket....stick it out far enough for someone to put candy in it!). When her doorbell began ringing all Emily could say was TRICK OR TREAT TRICK OR TREAT!! She was very helpful in passing out the candy with Aunt Stephanie and I'm pretty sure the Smarties candy were and are her favorite. I think I also witnessed the first "sugar high" or 2 year old on crack that night as well! It was a successful first Halloween outing for our Little BumbleBee!!
