Emily's new "boy" friend

Emily and I went to Birmingham for a few days and while we were there we had lunch with a college friend of mine-Heather Keyes Oneal (we call her Deuce...long story) and her son Lucas who is just one week younger than Emily. In fact, we actually had the same due date!! It's sad to say that this was the first time meeting Lucas but what a great time it was and hopefully it won't be another year before we do it again. Thanks to Heather and Lucas for being such a fun date. Next time we will hit up Chick Fil A!!!!

Sneaky

While I was doing some cleaning around the house I noticed it was a little too "quiet" so on my search for Emily I found this in my closet....I think this girl will have a love for shoes like her mommy and her gran/aunt and great-aunt!!

AU Celebration Day

Last week we all got dressed to go out for the Auburn Championship Celebration and after our lunch at Momma Goldbergs (wouldn't be right if we didn't eat there!) we decided it was a bit too cold to take Emily to the stadium so we came back home. But, Emily did enjoy sporting her new t-shirt for the Auburn Tigers. We would also like to thank my parents for buying our championship t-shirts too! Leslie

Christmas Morning/Santa

Ma gave Emily a letter/number mat that is as big as our living room so Emily had a good time rolling her toys on it and pulling the pieces out for us to put back in of course!
Carefully and meticulously opening presents...yeah right!!

Emily was very good this year so Santa brought her everything she thinks she might have wanted!!?? Elmo has definitely been the hit of the presents though.

The simple things in life...

This is the fun we have when Gran/Grandaddy send Emily diapers through the mail. She prefers the empty box as a "car" than what actually comes in the box!

Waiting for Daddy to take her on another "ride"

Chores

Making sure the cabinet is fully stocked with blankets for our company
She needed her apron to clean with me

Bowls look a lot like hats these days???

Emily decided she wanted to help out around the house while we were getting ready for our company on Christmas Eve...here she is "rearranging" the tupperware cabinet...
